The Last Post

A new drama started on BBC here in Britain tonight. It is set in Aden in 1965. I watched this because in 1965 most women wore slips as a matter of course. I was a bit concerned that the heat of the dessert might lead them to abandon nylon. In episode one I was rewarded with 3 sightings:
Jessica Raine in a white fullslip with deep lace at the hem, partially hidden by a robe.
Jessica Raine in a black fullslip with deep lace at the hem, partially hidden by a robe.
Jessica Raine in the same black fullslip with deep lace at the hem, less hidden by the robe.

The link is to a pic of Jessica Raine in the same black fullslip but this still is not from tonight's episode. Maybe it is something to look forward to in subsequent weeks. Maybe it is an excellent publicity shot.

Jessica Raine was seen in the same black fullslip in episode 2 but this time without the robe blocking the view, a fairly lengthy scene too.
