Which make do you like

Which make of slip do you prefer? I love vanity fair but you can not get them very well these days. My favourite full vanity fair slip is a cream one which has lace at the top and lots of lace at the bottom with a small slit at the back. My favourite half slip is a white one with lots of lace at the hem.

I have a few that I like. Shadowline made some exquisite ones while Maidenform, Charnos and Vanity Fair are all hard to beat.

M+S are making slips but they aren't as pretty anymore

I have a few marks and spencer vintage ones which are lovely but todays slip is so plain and frankly boring!

Was having a look when I was out with my mum the other day. Choice white or black..plain or if you are lucky a little bit of lace on the bottom. Plus the quality is just not there !

I my opinion M&S some years ago could not be beaten...but nowadays it's almost impossible to find a traditional style satin slip..
David Nieper did sell some shiny satin a few years ago,,,but now the ''Pealised' satin is about as exciting as one of my poplin shirts
( but far more expensive )
