wear your half slip as a full slip

Sometimes if I pull a longer length half slip so the elastic sits just below my bust I can wear it with a short summer dress. Cheating, I know, but it saves packing more than one slip if I am away for a few days and space is tight in my luggage!

You are so right. I get what u mean. If u wear the 25” half slip which is too long it will show. Then u will get people telling u “hey your slips are showing”.
So do u wear slips at home, like doing house work, sleeping? And if u do did u ever use it as half slip.

Do u have a son at home who adores mom in slips.

I wear slips under my vintage dresses and skirts when I wear them, or sometimes if my husband asks me to. My two sons live away from home these days…

I love retro clothing from the 50's, 60's and 70's, it's a shame fashion has gone backwards.

I thought in a western society women are more liberal and open.
My mom used to wear half slips at home very often. Not with just bra on but still with a top on. Usually it would be quite hot in the afternoons and so the skirt must come off. She normally wears them doing her chores and until shower time then she g ets changed to something else.

Hence I used get used to this garment all the time. And I also did try it on a few times i must admit.
I did at one time recommend her to use a specific colored one. Kind of cheeky so as to see the transparency of the slips. so i believe a half slip if worn at home is kind of appropriate.
