In the opening credits a girl loses her dress and is left in a black fullslip with lace trim for around 5 seconds. Just 4 minutes in and Shirley MacLaine has lost her luggage, in a scene lasting about 2 minutes she wanders around her apartment in a white fullslip with lace at bodice and hem and shoestring straps. Other girls offer to lend her clothes. 51 minutes in there is about 30 seconds of Shirley MacLaine in a royal blue shiny fullslip with lots of lace and shoestring straps. She locked herself in the bathroom to escape a man's unwanted attentions and slept in the bath in her slip.
