For me the problem with these modern slips is no lace at the hem. Years ago when the vast majority of girls routinely wore slips, the bottom end was what lucky fellas were most likely to see. Frequently it is the lace that makes a slip pretty. Vintage slips have a tendency to be rather more ornate or fancy than modern slips. I intend to carry on posting modern slips but I much prefer the pics that I post in the 'Slip Model' thread. These are closer to my memories of, what I now regard, as the good old days.
